AlphaGroup Strengthens Trade and Technology Cooperation with USDA and U.S. Agricultural Associations

AlphaGroup recently had the honor of welcoming a delegation from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), together with representatives from leading U.S. agricultural associations and industry organizations, to its headquarters in Hanoi, Vietnam.

The visit was organized under the Agricultural Specialty Crop Exports (ASCE) Program, which aims to strengthen connections between U.S. commodity organizations and Vietnamese businesses while promoting trade cooperation, market information exchange, and the development of sustainable agricultural and food supply chains between the two countries.

These organizations play important roles in advancing U.S. agricultural trade and market development worldwide.

During the meeting, AlphaGroup introduced its development journey and demonstrated its capabilities in providing technology solutions, equipment, ingredients, and technical services for Vietnam’s food and beverage industry. One of the key topics discussed was the hops market and the increasing demand for premium-quality ingredients in Vietnam’s brewing industry. The discussions were also expanded to explore cooperation opportunities involving various U.S. agricultural products and food ingredients, including fresh fruits, vegetables, potatoes, tree nuts, and a wide range of ingredients used in food and beverage processing.

In addition, both parties exchanged perspectives on international agricultural trade standards, particularly regulations related to Maximum Residue Limits (MRLs), food safety requirements, and sustainable supply chain development.

Representatives of USDA and the participating U.S. organizations highly appreciated the growth potential of the Vietnamese market and recognized AlphaGroup’s role in connecting Vietnamese businesses with international partners, helping bring advanced technologies, ingredients, and innovative solutions closer to the domestic food and beverage industry.

For its part, AlphaGroup expressed its desire to further expand cooperation with USDA and U.S. agricultural associations, not only in the hops sector but also across a broad range of areas, including fruits and vegetables, tree nuts, food ingredients, and technology solutions for food processing industries.

AlphaGroup remains committed to serving as a trusted bridge between international suppliers and Vietnamese enterprises, contributing to bilateral trade growth, technology transfer, and the sustainable development of agricultural and food value chains between Vietnam and the United States.

The meeting was conducted in a professional, open, and productive atmosphere, marking another milestone in AlphaGroup’s international cooperation strategy. The visit not only opened new opportunities for collaboration between AlphaGroup and U.S. partners but also strengthened connections between the business communities of both countries, contributing to the development of a modern, sustainable, and globally integrated agriculture and food & beverage sector.
